A complete internal rebuild of a small granny flat. The kitchen, bathroom and laundry were stripped out and replaced, with large-format tiles run floor to ceiling through the wet areas — a soft concrete grey in a matt finish, chosen to make genuinely small rooms read as calm and considerably larger than they are.

Warm timber joinery — a wall-hung vanity and matching mirrored cabinet — lifts the grey palette, and the laundry gained full-height storage either side of the trough. New air conditioning, upgraded lighting throughout and a full refresh of internal finishes complete the works.
