Part of the same multi-stage whole-house renovation, the laundry and powder room carry the material palette of the kitchen through to the working end of the home. The same stone runs across the benchtop and up the splashback, with full-height joinery concealing storage either side of the appliances.

The work involved reconfiguring the layout to accommodate a side-by-side washer and dryer, relocating plumbing and electrical services, waterproofing and large-format tiling throughout, and installing a wall-hung basin and concealed cistern in the powder room.
